PPG paints protagonists in Tokyo together with Filippi Boats

It is a literally golden period, the one experienced recently by Filippi Boats.

In 2021 it was the undisputed protagonist of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, supplying boats to as many as 52 nations: 28 European countries, 9 between North and South America, 8 from Asia, 5 from Africa and 2 Oceania.

The "Filippi" contingent went into the water for Olympic gold in the Tokyo Sea Forrest Waterway basin with over 50% of the boats competing (110 out of 204), winning 24 medals out of 42 available, equal to 57% of the prize money: 7 gold, 10 silver and 7 bronze.                                                                                                         

And on this occasion the last “taboo” was finally dispelled: winning a gold medal at the Olympics on the 8+, a result obtained with the New Zealand “all black” team.

The performances were not less even at the Paralympic Games, where 32 nations were represented, with a contingent of 35 boats out of 48.

The balance of the medals was no less: 33 medals for the boats of Donoratico, of which 9 out of 12 up for grabs (3 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze) in the 4 Paralympic finals.
