A New Training Facility Opens in Turkey

At PPG, we are committed to technical excellence, which is why we invest in training facilities throughout the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. The latest technical training center inaugurated in EMEA is located in the city of Izmir, Turkey.

The new six-figure PPG Refinish Business Solutions and Application Centre serves bodyshops from Turkey and 16 other countries in the EMEA region. The facility is equipped with the latest technology and gives bodyshops the opportunity to learn, practice and fully master the use of our automotive refinish products.

PPG’s Izmir Refinish Centre’s training offers multiple courses at various levels for paint technicians to bodyshop managers. Courses include application techniques, colour matching, paint defaults and bodyshop management skills.

In its initial few months, the new centre provided 40 training sessions to nearly 500 people, proving its potential. The new facility is also valuable to us and our customers for product testing and demonstrations.

Equipped with the latest technology to meet the needs of the sector, the Refinish Business Solutions and Application Centre is important for both Turkey and the PPG world. With the new centre now open, qualified experts can receive specialty training in the heart of the sector.
