PPG has launched a new mobile app to support its growing portfolio of automotive refinish coatings. The free multilingual app provides users with quick and easy online access to information about products and how to use them, with simplified technical data sheets (TDS) highlighting the most important details and advice.
With its user-friendly design, the new ProductApp enables customers to explore the products available in their region, and search for a product by category, product name, product code or by simply scanning the barcode on the tin - using the camera on their smartphone or mobile device. The product page defaults to the most popular combination of Hardener and Thinner. If preferred, users can choose a different combination of Hardener and Thinner, and the technical details will update accordingly.

The app’s intuitive user interface is easy to navigate, simply touch the search icon at the top to get started. The main menu also features further sections, allowing users to check what additional information and PPG tools they would like to access through the app.
